A male rufous visited my backyard feeder around 11 AM on 3/7/07. He only stayed for about 15 or 20 minutes. Guess he was in a hurry to get up north. This is the first rufous I've seen this year in California's Central Valley and the first ruffous I've ever seen in my backyard!
