I am sure that that is what I heard. It was a call for a mate. However I have only been up an hour today, and haven't heard him again. Everyone else is out there in my field singing.( Redwings, cardinals, crows and yesterday we had a hawk in our tree that was yeeping.) We have had at least one robin in our neighborhood all winter. I have heard its chirp and have seen it too. But this singing was different.
