While we have had unseasonably warm weather lately with open water and no snow, early this morning we just snow flurries as a cold front went through. A robin is in my backyard amidst my feeding house finches, black-capped chickadees, a Downy woodpecker and 3 rare Harris's sparrows. The weather, while considerably cooler than yesterday morning which was +10C at 8am, is still fairly warm at minus 1 ... just below the freezing mark.
