Shoal Creek in Austin, about 4.5 - 5 miles north of the Colorado River:



March 10, one large female laid at least 33 eggs on seven A.
curassavica.



March 11, one large monarch flew by me, disappearing into the woods on east side of our lot, where there are Mexican Buckeyes barely beginning to bloom.
