Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/14/2007

Number: 1

The first robin arrived today! Riding the wind tossed branches of the garden crabapple and alternating triumphant singing with scolding! Bright and brassy, unlike other years when they creep about the yard, muttering and glum! KaChing, resident yard blackbird, perched all ruffled up and threatening below the intruder. So it went bouncing about the snowmelt soggy yard, listening for a passing worm. A cold front swept thru later quelling the unusually high temp spike of 70 degrees on Tuesday. Last night it began to rain then as the high winds of the cold front skirled thru, turned to snow!
