As I was walking around the pond this morning, I had the feeling someone was watching me. Small, beady eyes connected to a fist sized brown lump were watching my every move! The first frog of spring had emerged!(Frogs are dark brown, almost black when they first come out of hibernation, they turn greenish over time) Since 4-6 inches of snow is predicted for tomorrow I'm sure his first visit will be a very brief one!!
