I did observe 2 barn swallows on the 15th. It was sunny with a light breeze. There is a golf course directly across the road from my office window and the swallows love the area. At least 3 pairs nest here every year and they have such cheerful conversation that I always watch for them. I did not see them the next day, but I saw swallows the day after that (17th). They may have only been passing through as residents I usually see every day.
