We planted 50 bulbs and only found three emerging. We are a bit worried because in Dec. when it was warm (We had a warmer and wetter than usual Nov., Dec. and Jan.) we dug up three bulbs to check their progress and found two were rotted or eaten by animals. Some children wonder if some of our tulips aren't emerging because they were planted near daffodils. Any thoughts?
