An adult was feeding on my home milkweed "garden" (two large pots of milkweed) that is in full bloom. I'm now checking for eggs but I'm not sure of the gender of the butterfly I saw. I had 7 or 8 monarchs come from chrysalis last season, so I'm hoping the ones I see this spring are from that same line. I have two kinds of milkweed, Tropical (red & yellow) and yellow flowering. The weather was great the day I saw the butterfly, but has been a little cooler and cloudy the last couple of days.
