Tulips decided to emerge quickly once the warm weather returned. We had a warm spell, followed by a cold front, and then temperatures in the sixty's. Nights are still cold, but the tulip garden is doing well.We noticed other gardens in Idaho have emerged before ours. The gardens are south of us and warm weather often is two to three weeks ahead of those of us in the mountains. We are surrounded by mountains that still have snow covered tops.
