I don't see many Robins where I live, only a few every year. There are two of them hanging out in my backyard. Apparently because I have a TON of worms in my garden beds. Ig uess all my hard work of working the clay soil I used to have has paid off.
I live in Northern Nevada, near Reno, just outside of Carson City. Carson City is located at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The elevation where I live is approximately 4200 feet. Normally during the winter we get a ton of snow, but, this year has been quite warm. I'm not convinced winter is over yet. The snow comes later and later every year. This past week it was unseasonably warm... 78 degrees. Today, March 21 is much different.. Today we are in the mid 50's to low 60's, but, there were some light snow flurries earlier. Yesterday our low was 32 degrees. I saw the birds this past weekend and yesterday. They sat in my yard for most of the day digging for worms and once in a while sitting in my trees.
