Hi,
I was visiting a friend who's home is right on Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, CT. We were lucky enough to look out her back window and saw a bald eagle about 30 feet out sitting on a frozen section of the lake. We observed this gorgeous eagle for about 8 minutes, we even took out my friends binoculars and for sure it was bald eagle, what a sight to see. My family and I have gone and viewed the eagles over in Southbury on the Shepaug Dam. I often wondered if they were over on Candlewood Lake, now I know for sure they are. Just wanted to share this information with any groups I could find that are keeping track of where the eagles are.
Thank you, Kathy Delin
