Yet again the intrepid pair of Barn Swallows which nest in my laundry room near the ceiling have arrived. The date was probably 3-11-07. This pair fledged 17 young two years ago and an estimated 15 young last year, but they had been coming into the laundry room for several years before that. They have a big contribution to the local gene pool.
