Walking in my woods today I spotted about double the amount of Trilliums that I had last year, just begining to set buds. I also found a solitary Jeffersonia diphylla- (Twin Leaf) wildflower in full bloom, among the Marginal Wood Ferns that are happily greening up. Bluebirds and others are building nests. My Redbuds are in bloom and look lovely with the Daffodils and wild purple Violets. Soon my Dogwoods will follow suit!
