Despite the lack of open water, there are several thousand Tundra Swans in the area feeding in cornfields. Many thousands more pushed straight through this week. With the cold weather moving in today and the storm moving up the east coast, I would not expect any new influx of swans until the warm weather returns next week. Nonetheless, this may be the peak swan weekend here at Long Point this spring.
