Tulips EMERGED

Date: 03/20/2007

Number: 1

The tulips that emerged at the library were a little later than those planted on a Pompey hillside. The library's landscaping "clutter" had been cleared,so perhaps that process kept the ground colder than the other site.
On the positive side of the library location vs Pompey, the deer or rabbits ate the tops off the tulips that emerged on the 18th. Hopefully the busy library will keep theirs undisturbed by wildlife.
