Sighting by my son, Hunter Burrell, who was trained by me how to report the sightings:
"Fluttering around an Austrian White pine tree, no particular direction noticed before or after it landed in pine.
13:01, weather breezy, overcast." Intense storms came in later that afternoon and evening.
NOAA for Amarillo (NWS apx 30 NE in Potter County) 3/24/07 at 12:53: Winds S 26, Gusts to 33; temp 65, dewpoint 45, pressure 30.02", 1013.8 mb. Winds picked up from daily avg 20mph an hour previous.
