I saw a female Monarch this afternoon at 3:45 pm,on March 25,2007 It was partly cloudy and 81 degrees with a small breeze.. She was visible to me for about 2 hours. She mostly stayed on the flowering Redbud tree, also in bloom was red honeysuckle, yellow honeysuckle, Red Quince, violets,azaleas and yellow jasmine. She looked to be in pretty good shape.
