Finally our tulip bulbs have emerged. Despite very warm weather (60-70 degrees Fahrenheit) in January, our bulbs did not emerge. Then we had snow, sleet, and freezing rain during February and the last storm was March 16-17. We have been watching the map and tracking the emergence and blooming of other gardens, wondering when our bulbs would appear. Toaday Monday we saw 14 bulbs that had sent up leaves. We will check eah day to see when the rest emerge. First graders are so excited and ready to measure the growth of theirtulips.
