We are a little late in reporting... but, 5 tulips began to bloom on March 12th. As of yesterday, March 26th, we counted 26 are in the blooming stage. Many more are blooming in other classes' gardens. I would say at least half of the 200 we planted are blooming. The bright red blooms brighten our planted areas around the school's parking lot. We are researching why many either didn't come up or are still quite small. 38cm is the tallest and some are barely just emerging now. We have had some weird weather - from sunny and warm (60 degrees yesterday) and snow two weeks ago. Today it is raining.
