My first sighting of an adult female monarch occurred today March 26. She made a quick fly-by dipping down low looking for milkweed. Unfortunately my milkweed is just barely out of the ground. I do have a small amount of tropical milkweed that I had overwintered. She did not appear to stay long enough to find the milkweed, but she was definitely looking.
