Larvae are hatching from eggs collected at the Choctaw Trails site in southwest Jackson. 88 eggs have been collected from 3 separate quick outings(44, 25, 19) with the most recent collection of 19 eggs yesterday afternoon (March 27). No larvae had emerged as of 5 pm yesterday but numerous individual small larvae are present today. No larvae have been observed in the field.
