Second graders are excited that spring has arrived at our school here in southern Ohio. We are having very warm weather this week and lots of rain. The tulips are blooming on the south side of our school sign but not yet on te north side. We think the shade of the north side caused the bulbs not to be as warm. There are buds hpwever on this side too. We wrote and drew in our science journals and tried to figure out why all schools had to plant the same kind of tulips. (control)
