I actually counted 13 flying monarchs. The weather was clear, slight breeze.

I began counting them from about 11 am throughout the rest of the day. I was shocked at the number. In fact, a few probably were not included in my head count because it took a few sightings for me to say to myself, "I think I will count them today, they are everywhere!". It is a habit I take on every year during migration, I cannot help but count them each day. Today's count (April 4)is sadly only two.
