Bald Eagle

Date: 03/22/2007

Number: 1

I spotted him along Canal Road's towpath, perched in a tree. MAGNIFICENT! The local paper had a recent article stating that the male and female nested in our area, this is the second year. Local naturalists are asking observers to please be cautious to not disturb 'our eagles' in any way (i.e. don't stop and stare for too long, or photograph them, or make them feel uneasy in any way.) Last year they did not produce offspring. We all have our fingers crossed that they do this year!
