A little south of Mary in NW San Antonio there were lots of Monarchs too... I saw 8 in about 30 minutes today. Near Rio Medina, Tx (west of San Antonio) on the way to our farm, I too saw a pair mating, and at our farm 2 mi. East of Quihi, I saw a pair mating. The Monarchs were a mix of fresh looking and very worn.
