All our red emperor tulips have bloomed. The last to bloom (4) were the ones fartherst from the house, where the temperatures are close to ambient. These bloomed on 4/3/07. The first to bloom (2) were the ones nearest the house, where temperatures are higher than normal air temperature. They are beautiful. We hope they survive the frost predicted tonight on 4/5/07.
