Students came running on Tuesday to tell me that our tulips had bloomed! Today, Thursday, we now have 14 bulbs in bloom, with many buds ready to open. The red petals are brilliantly colored and shine in the sunlight. We will enjoy the blossoms, take pictures, and do the Georgia O'Keefe art lesson using our very own tulip blossoms. (We planted 40 bulbs this year.)
