Yippee !!!!!!

As I returned from lunch today, Ms. Monarch 2007 was waiting on me at the front door of the museum. As I walked down the sidewalk, I spotted her on one of my potted milkweed plants that I had set out along the walk. I went back to my van and got my net that I had been carrying around for a week, and netted her. I had been getting calls almost daily from the university chancellor reporting monarchs around campus, but every time I got to the spot where they had been spotted – no monarch. I placed her in a holding cage in a dim room overnight to allow her to settle in to her new home.
