Well, Ms. Monarch only laid 48 eggs on Thursday.

Things cooled down here in Monticello Friday. It was 82oF on Tuesday when Ms. Monarch came to live in my lab. This morning it was 42oF. We had a nice cloud cover roll in late yesterday (Thursday) afternoon that kept the temperatures from dropping into the freezing range. My indoor/outdoor thermometer reads
55oF outside and 70oF inside today at noon. She might not know what she is missing outside, but being in the lab she is staying warm enough to sip from her nectar cup and lay eggs.
