Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/08/2007

Number: 1

Ms. Monarch laid 12 eggs Sunday, April 8th. The big news is that the first
eggs began to hatch. I haven't been able to count all of the babies, but
there are close to 50 that are out and starting to munch down on the tender,
young milkweed leaves. The most of the remaining eggs are showing the black
caterpillar head at the top of the egg. Here is a photo of them.
