On April 4th, 2007 my backyard (which is a registered Backyard Habitat) was buzzing with visitors, namely the American Goldfinches. I had not seen them over the winter and I don't believe they migrate far from Ontario so it was a nice way to welcome spring. Apart from the Goldfinches, we had visits from a female Robin, a female Cardinal (first time ever) and the usual mix of Juncos, Sparrows, Red-winged Blackbird, Doves, House Finches, Starlings and Grackles. It was a wonderful day.
