It took a while for our three emperor tulip bulbs to emerge. Other tulips came out earlier than the emperor ones but their sites where sheltered by our house or near the drive-way or road. Not a fair comparison, we guess. Overall, everything in our yard seems to pop up one to two weeks later than other places. Maybe we are just too wooded in.

We can't wait for the blooming to start.
