A monarch was seen in Kearny, Arizona, reported to the "DesertLeps" listserv, and forwarded by Paul Cherubini. The observer stated:

Had a monarch on my butterflybush in Kearny, Arizona on Monday. Of
course, by the time I got in the house, found the camera batteries,
loaded them and got back outside, the monarch was long gone!

Report your monarch and milkweed sightings to me when you
are able. Especially interested in what is happening west of
Phoenix, but all over the state as well.
