I found 54 Monarch eggs on 6 milkweed plants which were only about 8” tall! I brought the eggs in, since the temperatures were supposed to plummet for about a week. On 4/9, the eggs began to hatch at my house. There are about 20 tiny cats now (maybe more…my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be!) I’ll get a better count when they grow a bit.
