We took a walk near our school building this morning. We heard cardinals, AND A ROOSTER! We saw crows carrying sticks, grackles, a chickadee, a northern mockingbird, two blue jays, house sparrows, house finches, a mourning dove and many American robins and European starlings. We saw many earthworm piles on the ground, and a crab apple tree starting to bloom. We saw a tree with woodpecker holes in it. There were many pine cones on the ground.
