On Friday April 13th KJ Jordan and Shandran Thornburgh, 2 museum staff members, sighted a monarch butterfly flying across the Virginia Living Museum's parking lot towards our butterfly garden about 12:30pm. They reported to me on Monday that it was in good shape, did not look tattered or worn.
