Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 03/28/2007

Number: 1

We had an unusally warm week in March with temperatures in the 60's and 70's each day. It was our Spring Break. One of the students came to school on Wednesday to show his mom our tulip garden. The tulips were just beginning to bloom. By the time we arrived on Monday, the tulips were out fully with blossoms about six inches across. We measured some of the leaves at 12 inches. We had beautiful healthy plants. They bloomes for about a week and then our weather turned very windy and cold and most of the blossoms fell off.
