Despite some very unusual weather from December through March, our tulips bloomed at the expected time. The tulip bed has tulips in various stages of growth, which we expect will bloom over the next couple of weeks. In the past, most of our tulips have been at about the same stage of growth and have bloomed within a day or so of each other. Of the 75 bulbs we planted in our "official" site, we only had 2 that bloomed on the initial bloom date. This year, our tulips bloomed on April 21st. In the past three years the dates have been: April 12th, April 20th, and April 20th.
