Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 04/22/2007

Number: 1

Just in time for Earth Day! The temps have been warm the last few days but not enough to make the 36 degree theory work! Last week our temps were low, in the 20s, and we had 5" of snow. This weekend it warmed up to the 40s during the day but temps still in the 20s at night. No major sightings of Robins so we think the one we saw on Sunday was a passerby. We are on a flyway towards the coast. We see many different birds during the early spring that don't normally nest here. It's usually another few days before we see more Robins. We'll let you know!

Later that day
Positive Robin sighting near Jeanette's house and near the Shageluk Native Store.
