Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/23/2007

Number: 1

two ruby throats sighted today; feeders have been out since April 12, 2007. It was about 75 degrees today with very high winds, gusting to 40-50 mph according to radio reports. We live in a rural area, on a small channel of water off Sherman Lake--a small freshwater lake in sw Michigan. I believe the two may be males since they seem to be vieing for territory.
