Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/23/2007

Number: 1

This spring has been more like a fall migration in reverse! Yesterday there were 8 faded monarchs in my yard all afternoon, nectaring, dancing, and roosting in the same areas they use in the fall migration....I find eggs everytime I look at milkweed. The milkweed is larger and more numerous this spring than any year in the past ten years.
