Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/21/2007

Number: 1

I spent the day at Pontotoc Ridge Nature Preserve which is about 20 miles south of Ada, and I saw numerous Monarchs. I didn't count them because I was mowing the trails, but I would say it was as many as I've ever seen at this time of the year. I saw some fresh ones and also some old and worn ones. We also have a lot of milkweed.
