Spring in Matagorda WOW! Today 4/25/07 we have had some heavy weather move through but the sun came out about 2:00pm and the birds fell in behind the cool front. Rose breasted groosbeaks, indigo buntings, painted buntings, eastern wood-pewees, black and white warblers,yellow warblers, black throated warblers, gray catbirds, scarlet tanagers, summer tanagers, orchard orioles, baltimore orioles, dickcissels and blue grosbeaks.
