saw barn swallows at Summer Lake Wildlife Area almost two weeks ago, but this is the first sighting on our property. It seems as if the swallows (barn, tree, and cliff) stay on or near the marsh when they first arrive (it's very buggy out there!), then disperse to their breeding areas.
