Yesterday was a real spring day, warm, no wind, and with that certain something in the air. And sure enough, this morning we heard our first Varied Thrush singing, and ---guess what-- also a robin! We had a hard frost last night, but today has been warm (50 degrees) and sunny, so we hope to hear a whole chorus of robins singing this evening and tomorrow morning. The wonderful spring rush has begun!
