After all of the strange weather that we had on the east coast, our tulips finally bloomed. The ones that we planted last year bloomed earlier than our 2007 bulbs. The kindergarten classes took a walk each day to see when the tulips would bloom. I am now referred to as the "Tulip Teacher". It is so exciting to see the beautiful growth of red flowers in front of our inner city school.
