Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/29/2007

Number: 1

Around 2pm, sunny and very warm, a fresh looking female monarch flew by my window. I went out to the milkweed plants, which are about 10-12 inches high, and she kept flying around right in front of me touching other plants looking for places to lay eggs, it seemed. When she left I found 15 or so eggs on 5 common milkweed plants.
