Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/23/2007

Number: 1

Our tulips bloomed on April 23, 2007. The soil temperature was 55 degrees farenheit. We have one tulip that has been devoured by insects. One student has a double blooming plant. We believe one of our tulip bulbs was dug up by a squirrel and transported to a different courtyard. It is buried under a bush and has emerged. The leaves of this plant match those found in our test garden. Two or three of our tulips are missing their flowers. They appear to be chewed or torn off. (Perhaps by pests?)
