Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/01/2007

Number: 1

While working on the roof at retention pond pump house ,I spotted several Barn Swallows flying about. These birds were feeding on various insects,as there were plenty. These birds will also probably nest here, as numerous nests from the previous year are still plastered on the walls.

NOTE; I also discovered a nesting pair of Canada Geese within the pond compound.....9 eggs were in the clutch.
